Today was a gorgeous day in NEO & I had a hankering for a hike... so hiking it was. Ended up at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I had never been there but I will most definitely be going back. It's just... wow. It's like Hinckley on steroids. Nature is awesome. And trees and their funky roots are my favorite part...
These roots looked like a cascade of braids...
This tree looked like it was trying to climb up the little cliff...
It's a square root*... heh. (sorry for the blurry)
I dig nature.
*I realize this is not technically a root but "square trunk" wasn't nearly as clever.
